With the advancement of ultrasound imaging technology over the past few years, standard 3D/4D ultrasound have become almost obsolete. Clients have become savvy and recognize that image quality and seeing their baby in the best format possible is what matters. With this being said offering HD Live (Fetal Realistic View, and 5D) ultrasound has become crucial for elective ultrasound studios. Not offering HD at your ultrasound studio can be a serious detriment and cause for clients to choose another studio over yours. Don’t be afraid though…  if you go with a machine that offers HD/5D/FRV you are still able to offer your clients the traditional 3D/4D experience.
