What should we do when foreign body gets into our eyes
Eyes are important to us. However, it is unevoidable that foreign body will get into our eyes. It makes us unfortable and harms our eyes if we do not deal with it properly.

foreign body gets into our eyes

In general, if the foreign body is corrosive or there is a lot of foreign body getting into our eyes that needs more urgent treatment, take anything available to you to  (tap water line too) wash your eyes. This way you can dilute the harmful substances in the conjunctival sac concentration as soon as possible. The foreign body may be eyelashes or small solid particles like samples. You'd better look at the mirror and open the upper and lower eyelids carefully to check the location of foreign bodies. After you see the location of foreign bodies,  force blink several times. At the same time you can drop little artificial tears to wet eye table. Most of the foreign body will gradually move to the eyelid edge. Then  you gently wipe with a clean swab: but there may be a small number of foreign body adhesion or incarcerated in the ocular surface or conjunctiva, such as 502 glue or iron filings and so on. Even if washed with water it can not be removed.  It is recommended to go to the hospital in time; and the most unwise approach is to rub the eyes repeatedly, because it not only can not clear foreign body,  foreign body in the corneal surface may cause damage to our eyes.
There is another situation is you. If you feel  foreign body in your eye, but you can not find it after careful examination. It is recommended to go to the hospital for further inspection and processing because this may be caused by conjunctival stones, dry noses, trichiasis, etc.
Protect your eyes from now on.
